Traversée begleitet die gemeinsame Reise des Regisseurs Tizian Stromp Zargari und der fiktiven Figur Kamo, gespielt von Hadi Khanjanpour, auf den Spuren der Migrationsroute ihrer Eltern – von der türkisch-iranischen Grenze bis nach Frankreich, quer durch den europäischen Kontinent.
Along their journey, the two encounter people whose lives are marked by uprooting and learn stories of exile, resilience, and shifting boundaries. Together, they attempt to redefine the concept of "home" as a place that can offer everyone a sense of belonging – a place that is perceptible not only on a map but also in emotional experience.
